Valery Miftakhov is the founder and CEO of ZeroAvia, a company that is working to make electric planes a reality. Prior to ZeroAvia, Miftakhov was the founder and CEO of eMotorWerks, the market leader in smart EV charging. Valery also spent time as the head of R&D for Google for Work Incubation and as an associate partner at McKinsey & Co. Miftakhov has a long history of working in the business world, and their experience has helped him build ZeroAvia into a successful company.

Valery Miftakhov received their PhD in Physics from Princeton University. Valery also holds two MS degrees in Physics, one from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) and the other from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT).
