Aisha Matayeva

Secondee, A.P. Møller Mærsk at Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center

Aisha Matayeva currently holds the position of Future Fuels Manager at A.P. Moller - Maersk and serves as a secondee at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping. Previously, Aisha worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University, focusing on the valorization of various feedstocks and wastes into bio-oils and value-added chemicals. Aisha also contributed to projects at the Università di Bologna related to biomass valorization and solid catalysts design. Earlier experiences include a visiting research position at Eni, a Research and Teaching Assistant role at Nazarbayev University, a researcher position at RSE “National Center of Labor Hygiene and Occupational Diseases,” and a technician role at Karagandinskij Gosudarstvennyj Universitet. Aisha's education includes two PhDs in Natural Sciences and Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University and Università di Bologna, respectively, as well as a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Karagandinskij Gosudarstvennyj Universitet.
