Gavin Miedema is an experienced project manager and engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and security operations. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Tokamak Energy since September 2022, Gavin previously held the position of Project Manager Team Lead at Oxford Brookes Racing Autonomous, where management of a 30-person cross-functional team was achieved to develop an autonomous racing system for Formula Student UK. Earlier experience includes roles as a software engineer, integrating GPS modules into autonomous vehicle systems, and holding various positions in the United States Marine Corps, including Combat Engineer and Training Officer, where Gavin conducted security operations at embassies and developed operational plans. Gavin earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Oxford Brookes University in 2022.
