Isao Uchida

Isao Uchida has a robust background in marine machinery and engineering, currently serving as a Secondee at Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping since January 2024. Prior experience includes holding the position of Head of Marine Machinery Division at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd. from January 2020 to February 2024, and previously leading the Quality Management division from April 2018 to January 2020. Isao's earlier roles at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Europe, Ltd. and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. include General Manager of the Marine Machinery Group and Manager of the Marine Boiler Designing Section, respectively, between April 2011 and March 2018. Isao Uchida holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Kitami Institute of Technology, attained between 1987 and 1993.
