Maria Grammatikou is currently an R&D Student Assistant at Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping as of October 2023. Previous experience includes roles in ESG Reporting and the Bunkering Department at Tsakos Shipping and Trading S.A. from December 2020 to December 2022, and a Thesis Project focused on carbon nanotubes at the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos" in 2020. An internship in the Energy and Environmental Department at Tsakos Columbia Shipmanagement Romania occurred from July to November 2019. Education includes a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, expected in February 2025, and a Master of Engineering in Process Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, complemented by studies at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquees de Toulouse from 2018 to 2019.
