Morten Vejlgaard-Laursen is a Senior Manager and Head of Engine Process R&D at MAN Energy Solutions, overseeing a team of 50 engineers focused on engine research, development, and emissions measurement since January 2023. In addition, Morten serves as Chairman of ShippingLab and is an R&D Advisory Board Member at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping. Morten has held various significant roles including Vessel Innovation Lead and Director of Electrical and Automation at A.P. Moller - Maersk, contributing to initiatives in energy efficiency, decarbonization, and digitalization. Morten has also been active in CIMAC since February 2018, participating in multiple workgroups, and has held advisory positions at DTU and other organizations focused on maritime technology.
