Luke Murphy has over 12 years of work experience. Luke began their career in 2008 as a Web Admin for GrainCorp, followed by a Marketing Intern for the Sydney Opera House. In 2009, they were a Creative Programme Director for Hotwire, where they were responsible for digital PR and social media, front-end development, illustration, and design for clients. In 2013, they were a Designer & Consultant, then a Programme Manager for Microsoft. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Trainer for the Henshall Centre and Co-founder and CPO of vinyl subscription service Wax & Stamp Ltd. In 2016, they held various roles at Memrise, including Design Manager, Product Designer, and Product Manager. Currently, they are the Head of Community and Content for zeroheight (YC S19) and a Chapter Lead for DesignOps Assembly in London.

Luke Murphy attended Girraween High School from 1997 to 2002, where they completed their HSC. Luke then attended Macquarie University from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a BA in Contemporary Music Studies.
