Kristie Sarkar

Kristie Sarkar has a comprehensive work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. In 2005, they were a Research Assistant at Columbia University, where they analyzed frequency and temporal characteristics of male advertisement calls of aquatic frogs and performed correlation analysis between call characteristics and selection. In 2007, they were a Summer Analyst at BlackRock, working in Risk and Quantitative Analysis. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at RMS, first as an Associate Product Manager in Application Product Management, and then as a Consultant in Analytical Services. In 2014, they became a Product Manager at Guidewire Software, working in Guidewire Live. In 2017, they were a Data Science Student at Galvanize in San Francisco, SoMa. Since 2018, they have been a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and a Machine Learning Engineer at Zesty.ai.

Kristie Sarkar has a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2008. Kristie also holds several certifications, including a Certified Catastrophe Risk Analyst from RMS (2011), a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance (2015), and several Coursera certifications in Neural Networks and Deep Learning (2018), Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization (2018), and Robotics: Aerial Robotics (2017).
