Lorenzo Torrez

Lorenzo Torrez, PhD, is a seasoned user experience researcher with extensive experience in leading qualitative and quantitative research efforts across a variety of prominent companies, including Zillow and Expedia. As a Principal User Experience Researcher at Zillow since May 2018, Lorenzo is responsible for driving research initiatives that enhance user experiences. Prior to this role, Lorenzo served as a Senior UX Researcher at Expedia, where contributions included identifying user pain points in travel-related products through collaborative research. With a foundational background at Microsoft, Lorenzo worked on projects involving geospatial technology, usability research for Windows products, and enhancing user experiences across multiple platforms such as Zune and MSN. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Applied Experimental Human Factors Psychology and an MS in Human Factors from the University of Central Florida, along with a BA in Experimental Psychology from Adams State University.
