Robert Merat is an experienced electrical engineer with a career spanning over three decades in hardware design and engineering. Currently serving as an Electrical Engineer at ZIN Technologies, Inc. since April 2016, Robert has previously held senior roles at Embedded Planet, Multi-Dimension Imaging, ADC Pathway, and Picker International. At Embedded Planet, accomplishments include the completion of complex single-board computer designs and memory implementations. Robert's expertise also encompasses optical link board design for CT scanners, enhancements to MPEG video standards, and development of custom ASICs for image processing in medical imaging. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, obtained between 1979 and 1983.
