Andrew Tindall

Andrew Tindall is a Senior Associate Patent Attorney in the Biotech department at Potter Clarkson since April 2023, with expertise spanning biotechnology, life sciences, digital health, and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Visiting Fellow at ZINC, Andrew supports a cohort of founders in developing commercial solutions to address environmental threats to health. Previously, Andrew worked as an Associate Patent Attorney at Mewburn Ellis LLP from September 2015 to April 2023, specializing in diverse life sciences areas and gaining extensive experience in Freedom-to-Operate projects and IP due diligence. Andrew's early career includes an International Program Associate role at RIKEN, focusing on research in biomass production, and a Summer Research Assistant role at the University of Cambridge. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Liverpool, and a PGCert in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London.
