Megan Yates is a seasoned professional in data analytics, currently serving as Co-Founder of Zindi Africa since September 2018. Prior to this role, Megan founded Ixio Analytics, a company specializing in advanced statistics, predictive analytics, machine learning, and big data processing, from October 2012 to August 2018, providing data-driven insights across various industries. Earlier experience includes a position as Spatial Analyst at Knowledge Factory, where Megan developed revenue prediction models and customer analyses. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Evolutionary Biology, a B.Sc. Honours in Botany/Plant Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Cape Town.
