Dalen Slater

Dalen Slater has extensive experience in credit risk management and financial institution regulation, currently serving as Principal Examiner at Zions Bancorporation since April 2023. Previously, Dalen held senior roles at Altabank, including Senior Credit Risk Officer, where responsibilities included reviewing and approving commercial loans and serving on the Bank’s loan committee. Other notable positions include Loan Review Manager at Altabank, Examiner at the State of Utah Department of Financial Institutions, and various executive roles at Zions Bancorporation, where Dalen managed credit systems and risk management functions. Dalen began a career as a National Bank Examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Weber State University, complemented by advanced education from the Pacific Coast Banking School.
