Brandon Ray is a Robotics Software Engineer at Zipline since July 2022, specializing in autonomy. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant in the Neural Systems Lab at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, where Brandon designed a novel eye-tracker based interface for human-robot interaction. A Research Intern position at Cornell University's EmPRISE lab involved developing a virtual robotic simulation environment. Previously, Brandon was the Lead Software Engineer for the UW EcoCAR team, managing a group of over 20 engineering students focusing on autonomous vehicles, and contributed to the initial development of a sensor fusion algorithm, achieving recognition in a national competition. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington, completed in June 2022.
