Michael Ross has a diverse work experience spanning from 1989 to the present. Michael started their career as a Performance Analysis Engineer at Lockheed Martin-Knolls Atomic Power Lab in 1989 and worked there until 2000. From 2000 to 2005, they worked as a Software Engineer at MapInfo. Michael then moved on to become an Adjunct Instructor at Hudson Valley Community College from 2000 to 2005. In 2002, they joined Cogent Technologies as a Consulting Engineer and worked there until 2006. From 2005 to 2014, they worked as an IT Analyst-Senior at Principal Financial Group. In 2014, they joined Zirous as a Senior Solutions Architect and continues to work there. Additionally, they have been self-employed as a Mathematics Tutor since 2014.
Michael Ross received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nuclear Engineering from Iowa State University, where they studied from 1984 to 1989. Michael then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completing their studies from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their academic qualifications, Michael has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Oracle Integration Cloud Service Solution Engineer Specialist certification from Oracle in September 2021, the Automation Pro I and Automation Pro II certifications from Workato in July 2021, the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle in December 2015, the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle in June 2014, and the Alteryx Core Certified certification from Alteryx in August 2019.
