Dr. Christian Amsel

Dr. Christian Amsel is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at ZKW since June 2025. Previously, Dr. Amsel held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Kongsberg Automotive from August 2021 to May 2025, where responsibilities included serving as a member of the board. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer and CEO Europe at Inalfa Roof Systems Group from October 2017 to July 2021, and various leadership positions at HELLA from September 2003 to September 2017, focusing on energy management and driver assistance systems. Dr. Amsel earned a Dr.-Ing. degree and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in communications technology, both from RWTH Aachen University.
