Tom Kerr

Tom Kerr is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded software and hardware development across various sectors, including healthcare and industrial technology. Currently serving as the Manager of Embedded Software Development at ZOLL LifeVest since 2015, Tom led the success of safety-critical software for a groundbreaking wearable cardiac defibrillator. Previously, Tom worked as an Embedded Systems Consultant, Director of Hardware Engineering at NewCare Solutions LLC, and Software Engineering Manager at ClearCount Medical Solutions, Inc., gaining recognition for innovative medical devices. Tom's early career at Honeywell Vocollect involved leadership roles that contributed to significant growth and revenue, alongside impactful positions at Biocontrol Technology, Inc., and Harris Corporation. Tom holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.
