Shawn Whitman is the VP of Membership & Guest Experience at Zoo Atlanta. Shawn has previously worked for the Metro Atlanta YMCA and Zoo Atlanta. Shawn is dedicated to their work and providing excellent customer service. Shawn is a people person and loves working with the public. Shawn has a passion for animals and their welfare, which makes Zoo Atlanta the perfect place for him to work.
Shawn Whitman has a Masters in Human Movement Sciences and Education from The University of Memphis, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Lipscomb University.
Shawn Whitman reports to Raymond B. King, President & CEO. They are on a team with Zoe Nieminen - VP & Chief Advancement Officer, Marci Creath - VP of HR, and Richard Hezlep - Senior Director of Marketing.
