Amber MacDonald has a diverse work experience, starting as a First Grade Teacher at Teach For America in 2004. Amber then worked as a Human Resources Assistant at ViaCell in 2007 before transitioning to Perkins School for the Blind in 2008. At Perkins School for the Blind, they held roles such as Executive Assistant and Annual Fund Manager, overseeing operations to raise over $2 million. Currently, Amber serves as the Director of Annual Giving and Development Operations at Zoo New England. Amber has a strong background in fundraising, donor communications, and event management.
Amber MacDonald received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English and Sociology from New York University in 2004. Amber then went on to earn their Master of Science (M.S.) in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University in 2015.
