Simon Bruslund

Simon Bruslund has extensive experience in conservation and ornithology, currently serving as the Head of Conservation at Zoologisk Have since March 2023 and as Curator of Conservation at Vogelpark Marlow GmbH since March 2019. Simon also contributes as an Ex Situ Conservation Assessor for the IUCN SSC Asian Species Action Partnership and holds a position as a Guest Researcher at Syddansk Universitet since June 2020. Previous roles include consulting through Bruslund BirdConsult from December 2014 to April 2023, Curator of Ornithology at Zoologischer Garten Rostock from November 2021 to January 2023, and a series of curatorial positions at various renowned institutions including Zoo Heidelberg and Loro Parque.
