Mattia Pelissou

Mattia Pelissou is a systems verification and validation engineer at Zoox since February 2023. Previously, Mattia co-founded Hermes Robotics and worked as a robotics engineer from June 2019 to November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a graduate researcher at UC Berkeley Model Predictive Control Lab, where Mattia focused on sensor fusion algorithms and tracking systems for automated vehicles from August 2018 to June 2019. An engineering intern at SLB in April 2017, Mattia holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Robotics and Controls from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arts et Métiers - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, alongside a Bachelor's degree from Lycée Sainte-Geneviève.
