Andrew Brown is currently the Director at Zscaler. Prior to this, they were with Riverbed Technology from August 2006 to November 2019, where they were Technical Director Office of CTO. Before that, they were with Qospel UK from January 2005 to December 2006 as an Application Performance Consultant specializing in Packeteer and Riverbed solutions. From January 2004 to December 2005, they were with Leeds Cooperative as IT & Network Manager, where they managed all aspects of Networking and IT including a team of 3 in a 50 site mixed retail environment. From December 2000 to June 2004, they were with Caledonian MacBrayne as LAN / WAN Support Manager, where they managed and supported a wired and wireless WAN and LAN infrastructure across 30+ shore based sites and a similar number of vehicle and passenger ferries throughout Scotland. Prior to that, they were a Support Technician with Prestel from January 1998 to December 1999.
Andrew Brown studied physics at Heriot-Watt University.
