Ron Burkett serves as the VP & CTO of Solutions Consulting at Zscaler, where responsibilities include leading Senior Sales Engineering efforts in large enterprise and strategic segments, as well as overseeing global projects such as Technical Advisory Groups. Prior to this role, Ron held various senior sales engineering positions at Zscaler, contributing to the company's growth from $50 million to $1 billion ARR across multiple regions in the Americas. Ron's extensive experience also includes leadership roles at Blue Coat Systems, where responsibilities ranged from managing enterprise sales engineering teams to serving as the North America's East Enterprise SE Director. Earlier in Ron's career, experience includes positions as a Networking Instructor at Pittsburgh Technical Institute and Computer Learning Centers, IT Director for North Allegheny School District, and Senior Technical Support Representative at NEC. Ron holds a degree from Penn State University, earned between 1994 and 1997.
