Vinay Mouli Katta is a seasoned software and security engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Security Engineer at Zscaler since December 2020, Vinay previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, where work focused on board bring-up and link-level issues for proprietary ASICS. Prior to that, Vinay was a Senior Software Engineer at Cisco, playing a key role in the introduction of 400G ports on retimers and enabling 25G Auto-neg on Cisco N9K ports, marking an industry first. Vinay started as a Software Engineer at Motorola, where significant contributions included developing the Low Battery Notification and a smooth scrolling feature for mobile phones.
