Nic Finelli has a long history of professional experience in the education sector. In 2008, they founded and directed Scratch Camp, a programming camp for elementary school aged kids in grades 2-5. From 2011 to 2016, they were the founder and Chief Learning Engineer of blendEDTECHlearning, while also working as a Microsoft EDU Digital Learning Specialist and Trainer, Apple Professional Learning Specialist, and Google for Education Certified Trainer. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Hapara Certified Champion Trainer and a Subcontractor for Whitlock. In 2018, they became a Professional Learning Specialist for insight2execution and in 2020 they became the founder, producer, and host of Charlotte FC Podcast. Nic Finelli earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration from the University of South Carolina between 1990 and 1995. Nic then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching, Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina in 1998. In 2004, they obtained a National Board Certified Teacher certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Nic received a Google Certified Trainer certification from Google in 2010, followed by a Google Certified Innovator certification in 2009. In 2016, they were certified as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Master Trainer and a Hapara Certified Champion Educator. Nic was recognized as a Minecraft Certified Trainer in 2017 and a Minecraft EDU Global Mentor in 2019. In 2020, they were named a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow. Most recently, they were certified as a Google Certified Coaching Mentor in 2021.
