Marios Karakasis is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software engineering and aerodynamics. Currently serving as Team Leader of Software Engineering at Zurich Instruments since February 2019, Marios has previously held key roles including Senior Software Engineer at the same company, Lead Aerodynamics Engineer at GE Power, and Development Engineer specializing in Turbine Aero & Performance at Alstom Power. Marios began an engineering career as an Aero Tools Engineer at Alstom Power and has also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge's Whittle Lab. Marios holds a PhD in Computational Engineering and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
