Remi Mommsen is a Senior Software Engineer C++ at Zurich Instruments since October 2020, focusing on software development for SHF measurement instruments and architecting interfaces for system solutions. Previously, Remi held roles at Fermilab from May 2008 to September 2020 as a Computing Professional/Physicist, managing the US CMS DAQ group and overseeing the DAQ system. Remi's early career included positions as a Physicist at the University of Manchester, contributing to the DØ collaboration, and at UC Irvine, participating in the ATLAS experiment at CERN. Additionally, Remi completed doctoral research at the University of Bern, where work included High-Level Trigger performance studies for ATLAS. The academic journey also involved internship experience at the Paul Scherrer Institute. Remi holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Bern.
