Saswata Basu

Saswata Basu has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Saswata started their career in 1995 as a Senior Systems Engineer at Cascade Microtech. Saswata then moved on to become a Principal Systems Engineer at LGC Wireless in 1997. In 1998, they became the President and CEO of InSpan Corporation. In 2005, they joined Intel as an Engineering Manager in the CTO Office, specializing in WiMax/4G. In 2006, they became a Mobility (4G) Consultant at Harris Corporation. In 2008, they joined Aviat Networks as Director of Corporate Business Development and General Manager of the Clean Technology Initiative. In 2014, they were a Cloud Consultant at TruePath Wireless and a Cloud Architect and Developer at Energous Corporation. In 2017, they founded Züs, a high performance storage network that powers limitless applications.

Saswata Basu completed a B.Engg in Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland between 1986 and 1991. Saswata then went on to pursue a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles from 1991 to 1992. Finally, they completed their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 1994.
