Alex Wu

Alex Wu is a highly experienced scientist specializing in in vivo biology and pharmacokinetics, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Zymeworks Inc. since April 2021, focusing on antibody-drug conjugate therapeutic development. With a strong background in cancer research, Alex previously worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, leading multidisciplinary projects that explored breast cancer brain metastasis. Prior to this, Alex served as a Research Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children, contributing to research on riboflavin uptake transporters and their role during lactation. Academic accomplishments include earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto. Alex also has extensive teaching experience as a teaching assistant in various pharmacology courses at the University of Toronto, alongside early research roles at CAMH and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
