Patricio Echagüe

Patricio "Pato" Echagüe is a seasoned engineering executive with extensive experience in software development and technology innovation. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Zyphra since July 2025, Patricio is focused on advancing artificial general intelligence (AGI). Previously, Patricio held the position of VP of Engineering at Harness from June 2024 to July 2025, leading the development of the Release Agent after co-founding Split Software, which was acquired by Harness. Patricio's career includes significant roles at InOrbit, Inc., SalesforceIQ, DataStax, Openwave, and Google, demonstrating expertise in engineering leadership, data infrastructure, and software development across various platforms. Patricio holds a degree in Software Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and has further education in machine learning from Stanford University and cognitive science from the University of Buenos Aires.
