Dries Boey

Dries Boey is a Senior Application Development Engineer at 3D Systems Corporation since October 2018, specializing in application development for metal additive manufacturing of medical devices, focusing on design for additive manufacturing and the end-to-end process flow, including heat treatment, post-processing, and quality control. Responsibilities include managing customer medical device projects from prototype through development and market release. Prior experience includes a position as an Application Development Engineer at Etex for a brief period in 2016, where Dries addressed production line bottlenecks as a summer intern. Dries holds a Master in Management and a Master in Engineering Sciences with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor in Engineering Sciences, all obtained from KU Leuven between 2011 and 2018.
