Ryan Fishel

Ryan Fishel is a Senior Application Development Engineer at 3D Systems Corporation, specializing in applications engineering for Direct Metal Printing with a focus on aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Additive Process Engineer and Process and Validation Engineer, where Ryan was responsible for process qualification in Laser Powder Bed Fusion 3D printing for medical and aerospace applications. Previous positions include Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Fabric8Labs and Additive Rocket Corporation, contributing to the design and optimization of components for aerospace and medical devices. Ryan co-founded CReATE Medical, leading the commercialization of a diagnostic medical device, and has experience in marketing and engineering internships as well as academic research. Ryan holds a Master of Engineering degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in the same fields with a minor in Chinese from Tulane University.
