Karthik Subramanian

Karthik Subramanian is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in AI and machine learning. Currently serving as a Data Science Specialist at 3M since April 2019, Karthik leads the development of generative AI capabilities and has played a crucial role in operationalizing the company's causal learning framework and MLOps strategy. Prior to this, Karthik held various academic positions at the University of Chicago, contributing as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant in data analytics. Karthik has also worked at Cognizant, where notable achievements include building models for image classification and anomaly detection for the energy sector. Karthik holds a Master of Science in Applied Data Science from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
