Meg Stagaard started their career in 2008 working as an Assistant Account Executive at Rubenstein Communications where they worked on various accounts and major company events. Meg then moved on to Porter Novelli in 2011 as an Account Executive in Brand Marketing. Later that year, they joined DiGennaro Communications as an Account Executive and gradually worked their way up to Senior Account Director. In May 2021, they joined 42West as a Vice President.
Meg Stagaard attended James Madison University from 2004 to 2008, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Public Relations.

42West operates as an independently-owned public-relations and marketing services firm. 42West grew out of The Dart Group, which was launched by Leslee Dart in 2004. Amanda Lundberg teamed up with Dart a few months later. In 2006, after Allan Mayer joined the partnership, the company was rechristened 42West. Since then, the firm's PRprofessionals have developed and executed marketing and publicity strategies for hundreds of movies, television shows, and digital productions as well as for countless individual actors, filmmakers, recording artists, and authors.Over the next ten years, 42West grew to become the largest independently-owned public-relations firm in the entertainment industry. In 2017, 42West became part of Dolphin Entertainment, a publicly-traded producer of family-oriented feature films and high-quality digital content that is delivered to more than 500 million homes in 125 countries.
