Meg Stagaard started their career in 2008 working as an Assistant Account Executive at Rubenstein Communications where they worked on various accounts and major company events. Meg then moved on to Porter Novelli in 2011 as an Account Executive in Brand Marketing. Later that year, they joined DiGennaro Communications as an Account Executive and gradually worked their way up to Senior Account Director. In May 2021, they joined 42West as a Vice President.

Meg Stagaard attended James Madison University from 2004 to 2008, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Public Relations.

Amanda Lundberg teamed up with Dart a few months later. In 2006, after Allan Mayer joined the partnership, the company was rechristened 42West.
