Brendan Foley has over 20 years of experience in various creative and user experience roles. Brendan is currently the Director of Creative and User Experience (UX) at 8 West Consulting since 2017. Prior to this, Brendan worked as a Creative Manager at DeCare Systems Ireland from 2013. Brendan also served as the Head of Creative & UX at QUMAS from 2010 to 2013. Brendan has held positions like Creative Director at Alpha Design and Marketing Ltd from 2008 to 2010, Senior Designer at TOTEM - Design Agency from 2007 to 2008, and Art Director at Publicis Groupe from 2006 to 2007. Brendan started their career as a Designer at SYZYGY in 1999 before moving on to become Creative and UX Lead at Design Lab Inc. from 2003 to 2006.
Brendan Foley obtained a BDes (Hons) degree in Visual Communications from Limerick Institute of Technology, studying from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they received an NDip degree in Graphic Design from Barking & Dagenham College, attending from 1994 to 1996. Brendan also holds additional certifications in Mini MBA from the Irish Management Institute, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, and People Management from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).
