8400 The Health Network
Nir Friedman is a Professor at Hebrew University, a position held since September 1998. In addition, Nir Friedman is a Cohort member at 8400 - The Health Network since March 2022 and a Co-Founder of Senseera since October 2020. Previous academic appointments include roles as Visiting Professor at both the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard (2007-2008) and Harvard University (2003-2006), as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow at U.C. Berkeley (1996-1998). Early experience includes a part-time visiting student role at Rockwell International from 1994 to 1996. Nir Friedman completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Stanford University between 1992 and 1997.

8400 The Health Network
On a mission to drive an Israeli economic growth engine in HealthTech and accelerate global cure, 8400 The Health Network is weaving a network of HealthTech ecosystem leaders, across silos and sectors, who learn together and create gap-closing projects that will propel a thriving HealthTech industry in Israel. The 8400 Fellowship runs annual cohorts of 60 senior Israeli leaders each, for an intensive 17 day program across 7 months. The program’s tailor-made curriculum is creating a continuous platform for breaking silos, peer learning and designing ecosystem growth initiatives. 8400 fellowship graduates join the 8400 Network.
