Natasha Seelam

Natasha Seelam is a Principal Data Scientist at A-Alpha Bio, with a strong background in machine learning and AI research across multiple organizations. Before her current role, Natasha served as Principal ML Scientist and Senior Deep Learning Engineer/Scientist at Sherlock Biosciences, and as Head of Machine Learning Research at MindsDB, where contributions included designing AutoML features and developing documentation for the AutoML engine, Lightwood. Natasha's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research focused on enzyme kinetics and machine learning applications. Additionally, Natasha has held various research and teaching positions, enhancing expertise in computational methods and statistical analysis in chemical engineering.
