Jerry Quinn has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jerry is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at AAFMAA, where they oversee various operations including survivor assistance services, member benefits, and life insurance issuance. Prior to this role, Jerry held multiple positions in the US Army, including the rank of Colonel and Assistant Chief of Staff, Comptroller. During their time in the army, they served in various leadership roles and was responsible for managing operations and training. Before joining AAFMAA, Jerry worked at Wells Fargo as the Director of Military Affairs and as a Military Program Manager, where they were involved in military and veteran outreach and engagement. Additionally, they have experience in the banking industry, having served as the President of a bank. Jerry also has a background in the Army National Guard, where they held the rank of Captain and served in various capacities including Platoon Leader and Battery Commander. Overall, Jerry has a strong background in leadership, operations management, and military and veteran affairs.
Jerry Quinn obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Organizational Design & Change Management from the University of Colorado Denver in 2002. Jerry also holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance & Real Estate, which they obtained from Colorado State University. In 2006, Jerry attended the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. In terms of additional certifications, they earned the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) from LOMA in October 2022 and became a Rescue Diver certified by PADI in November 2016.

AAFMAA (American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association) is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial services association that provides life insurance, military benefits counseling, Survivor Assistance Services, residential mortgages, financial planning, investment management and trust services to the American Armed Forces Community. AAFMAA is a unique association formed in 1879 whose focus is solely on serving members of the American Armed Forces Community and their families. Life insurance benefits include policies with no war clause, no terrorist clauses, and no aviation clauses or exclusions. Survivor Assistance Services are included with all member life insurance policies and serve the survivors for their lifetime. Membership eligibility extends to all ranks of the United States Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy who are Active Duty (or within 240 day after separation from service), Retirees, National Guard, Reserves, US Air Force Academy, US Coast Guard Academy, US Military Academy, US Merchant Marine Academy and US Naval Academy cadets and midshipmen. Additionally, Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) scholarship/contracts and veterans residing in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Oregon and Virginia are eligible for membership.
