Katherine Salazar-Poss

Katherine Salazar-Poss is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and corporate law. As the General Counsel at the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 1999, Katherine serves as the Chief Legal Officer for the U.S. Prior to this role, Katherine held positions at Logitech as Corporate Counsel and Director, managing international intellectual property matters and overseeing various legal disputes from 1994 to 1998. Katherine's legal career began at McCutchen Doyle Brown & Enerson (Bingham McCutchen), where functions included trademark, copyright, and patent litigation from 1985 to 1994. Academic credentials include a JD from U.C. Berkeley School of Law Boalt Hall, an MA in History from Stanford University, a BA in History from the University of Rochester, and a General Course in American Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
