Sumeet Parashar is an experienced cybersecurity leader with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer and Group Vice President of Information Security at ABB since January 2019, Sumeet previously held the position of Senior Director, BISO Target.com at Target from May 2016 to October 2017. Prior to that, Sumeet worked for DXC Technology as Associate Director of Cybersecurity, managing Cyber and IT security strategy in the India and AMEA region. Sumeet's early career includes roles at Amway, where responsibilities included designing a security framework and implementing e-commerce infrastructure, as well as positions at Netlink Business System and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. Sumeet holds degrees from Cornell University in Executive Leadership and Change Leadership, and a B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry from Delhi University.
