Zafar Qureshi

Zafar Qureshi is a Senior Scientist at AbbVie since September 2018, specializing in research related to molecular probes and their applications in understanding the mechanism of action of Ivacaftor on the Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator (CFTR). Prior to this role, Zafar Qureshi was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simon Fraser University from September 2016 to August 2018, focusing on synthesizing molecular probes and analyzing protein-probe adducts via ultra high resolution mass spectrometry to study Cystic Fibrosis. Zafar Qureshi obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry from the University of Toronto (2011 - 2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The University of British Columbia (2006 - 2011).
