David MacKay

David Mackay is a seasoned marine professional with extensive experience in marine surveying, project management, and operations within the maritime industry. Currently a Marine Surveyor at the American Bureau of Shipping since October 2020, David previously held roles at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. where responsibilities included managing renovations and ensuring compliance with inspection requirements. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Superintendent and PMS Administrator at Gulf Marine Services W.L.L, overseeing projects related to jack-up vessels and dry-docking activities. David has also worked with the American Bureau of Shipping in an earlier capacity, conducting inspections and surveys, and has held engineering positions with Tyco Telecommunications and the Panama Canal Authority. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 2014.
