John Tosetto

John Tosetto is an experienced marine surveyor and auditor, currently serving as Principal Surveyor in Charge at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since February 2013, after progressing from the role of Senior Surveyor within the corporate classification office. Prior experience includes positions as Marine Engineer with MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) from 2010 to 2013, where John held various roles from Second Assistant Engineer to Tankerman-engineer. John also worked as an Assistant Engineer at G & H Towing Company for a brief period in 2010. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems with a concentration in Offshore Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and prior studies in Chemistry at the University of North Texas.
