Tim Nickason

Tim Nickason is an experienced Business Intelligence Manager at Absolute Software since April 2020, overseeing the development and sustainment of on-prem and cloud data analytics in collaboration with senior leadership and business stakeholders. Previously, Tim held the position of Business Intelligence Practice Manager at DBWorks Technologies Inc. from 1998 to April 2020, specializing in Business Intelligence design and delivery, particularly with MicroStrategy and data warehousing. Tim also served as a Senior Consultant and Line Manager at Dixons Carphone Warehouse, where a new MicroStrategy project for the iD Mobile Data Warehouse was implemented. Prior experience includes a role as Database Manager and Data Warehouse Technical Lead at Dairyworld Foods, managing the Sales Analysis Data Warehouse and ETL processes across various platforms. Tim earned a Diploma of Technology in Computer Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and completed a course at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2020.
