Geoffrey Kershner is an accomplished arts executive and educator with extensive experience in leadership roles within the performing arts sector. As Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Academy Center of the Arts since May 2015, Kershner oversees strategic planning, fundraising, and programming initiatives. Previous roles include Artistic Director at Endstation Theatre Company, Assistant Professor at the University of Lynchburg, Director of Theatre at Daytona State College, and Senior Lecturer at The University of the Arts. Kershner holds a Master of Fine Arts from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts.
