Emily Elliott

Emily Elliott is an experienced governance professional currently serving as the Head of Governance at Academy Transformation Trust since April 2025. Previously, Emily held the position of Governance Manager at Star Academies from November 2021 to April 2025 and worked as a Governance Professional at Education Partnership Trust from June 2020 to November 2021. Emily's career includes roles as a Language School Programme Officer at Stonyhurst College and as an Education Development Officer at Northern. Emily began their career as a Teacher at Bolton Council from September 2013 to August 2016. Emily holds a PGCE in Primary Teaching from Edge Hill University and a Bachelor's degree in Events Management from the University of Lancashire, in addition to completing a program at The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland in July 2023.
