The Smart Bangladesh Accelerator (SBA) is a pioneering initiative by the Bangladesh High-Tech Park Authority, operating under the ICT Division of Bangladesh. It is a key component of the “Digital Entrepreneur and Innovation Ecosystem Development (DEID)” Project. SBA’s mission is to nurture a sustainable startup ecosystem in Bangladesh. It focuses on providing comprehensive business acceleration assistance to a diverse range of digital startups, particularly targeting early-stage, growth-stage, and women-led enterprises. Vision SBA envisions a robust and dynamic startup environment in Bangladesh. Its goal is to empower digital startups with the tools, knowledge, and connections necessary to thrive in the competitive global market. Acceleration Supports Provided to Startups Professional Coaching Mentorship Program Networking and Pitching Sessions Residential Bootcamp National Demo Day Program Duration The acceleration program spans 4-6 months, featuring an activity-based approach to startup development. Completion and Recognition Upon successful completion of the program, startups receive certifications acknowledging their progress and preparedness for the next stages of growth. Additionally, they are introduced to various investment companies for potential funding opportunities.
