Joe Hamilton

Joe Hamilton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in microfinance, financial inclusion, and global humanitarian efforts. Currently serving on the President's Council at Accion since January 2009, Joe promotes and invests in fintech solutions worldwide. In addition, Joe has held the role of Treasurer and Director at Oxfam America since June 2008, focusing on sustainable development and poverty alleviation. With a long tenure at Liberty Mutual Insurance since 1995, Joe has significantly contributed as EVP, Chief Officer of Strategy & Business Development, and held several key positions across various subsidiaries, including Liberty International and Liberty Seguros, until retirement in 2016. Joe earned a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin between 1972 and 1979.
