Ed Samuel

Ed Samuel is a seasoned professional in the field of technical operations and manufacturing within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as EVP of Technical Operations at Achilles Therapeutics plc since December 2017, Ed has held multiple senior roles including SVP Technical Operations, SVP Manufacturing, and VP Manufacturing. Prior experience includes a managerial position in Cell Therapy Operations at Orchard Therapeutics and a director role overseeing Technology Transfer and UK Manufacturing at Cognate BioServices. Ed's academic background includes a PhD in Haematology from UCL, an MSc in Medical Immunology from King's College London, and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology (Physiology and Pharmacology) from Nottingham Trent University.
