Avril Williams is an experienced professional in product technology and design, currently serving as the Product Technology Team Lead at Ackermans since June 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Technologist for Shoes, Bags, and Accessories at Truworths from January 2007 to November 2018, as well as positions at TFG (The Foschini Group) as a Product Technologist and Product Auditor in Outerwear and Lingerie from August 1999 to December 2006, and at Topics as a Product Technologist in Outerwear and Lingerie from May 1997 to August 1999. Avril Williams has a National Diploma in Clothing Design from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and has completed various wine courses, including an Introduction to South African Wine course from Cape Wine Academy and a First Star program from Cap Classique Academy in January 2023.
